Psoas Muscle Release Horse Massage

I am working on releasing the low back muscles or the sacroiliac region of the horse. His is tender, so releasing it will give him plenty of relief 💕 . The psoas muscle is quite deep, so I don’t actually touch it. I can release it though by touching him in this specific place. The owner noticed a big difference in his back afterwards, so I am grateful he is feeling better 🤩 . Sometimes if horses are doing a lot of one thing like jumping, and aren’t doing enough stretching/strengthening, their muscles can build up tension and in turn have pain. A weak muscle is a tight or painful muscle. I have to remember that for myself and for my horse clients😬 .
