Toen een vliegtuig crashte boven Hoorn | ANDERE TIJDEN

Above Hoorn, things go horribly wrong during the Second World War: two B-17 bombers collide in mid-air. Thirteen crew members are killed. Six are taken prisoner by the Nazis. Only one man manages to escape: Arthur Brown. That man seems to have nine lives. With the help of two Dutch families, he stays out of the hands of the occupying forces and eventually joins the armed resistance. After the war, Brown returns to Hoorn to thank his rescuers.
