Today we're going to learn a little more about one of the most famous Brazilian pop-rock bands of the 80s: Rádio Táxi. You certainly know the group's hits that marked generations, such as "Eva," "Garota Dourada," "Coisas de Casal," "Com o Radio Ligado," "Você se Esconde," and "Um Amor de Verão." Rádio Táxi was created in the early 1980s in São Paulo by former members of Tutti Frutti, the backing band for singer Rita Lee, and Secos e Molhados, who joined together to form a new musical project that mixed pop-rock, soft rock, and new wave. In this video, we'll learn about the band's history, remember some of their greatest hits, the fights that led to some of their lineup changes, and find out what they're up to today.
