PyroFarms GrowPro Expansion Feeding (at night)

In this video we show how to expand your PyroDino culture by using the Expansion Feeding method. The Expansion Feeding method works best for three main reasons. 1) Feeds both the original culture and the new culture with one single feeding. 2) Prevents 'over dilution' during expansion which can stress the PyroDino population. 3) Mixing and combining PyroDino cultures is beneficial for the overall health of these dinoflagellates. The Expansion Feeding method is simple. 1) Mix and aerate the DinoNutrients by shaking the pouch with the cap on tight. 2) Make sure the DinoNutrients are at the same temperature as the PyroDino cultures you are feeding. 3) Pour approximately equal volume (or less) into the primary culture, mix, and pour approximately the same volume added to the primary culture into the new expansion container. 4) Return both cultures to their daily lighted locations. By using the Expansion Feeding method you can achieve large populations (several liters/gallons) of PyroDinos over a few weeks or a few months without over-diluting and stressing/killing your PyroDino culture.
