"Odiaba que me preguntaran si yo también iba a ser torero"
Guillermo Hermoso de Mendoza used to play at being a bullfighter, but he hated being asked if he was going to become one. It was inevitable; his father is the greatest rejoneador (mounted bullfighter) in history. He grew up in the shadow of his father's legend, making a name for himself in bullrings around the world. In the latest episode of Vino para Charlar (Wine for a Chat), we talked about his career; his father's influence; horses; gorings; the effort; artistry and character; and the controversy surrounding the world of bullfighting today. All this, with a glass of JF Arriezu wine in hand.
