It is a huge, green spot on the map, which is part of one of the largest forest complexes in Poland - Solska Forest. Here, the asphalt quickly turns into gravel paths, a person disappears somewhere in the shade of trees, leaving noise and everyday life behind. And the silence becomes almost tangible and is interrupted only by the rustle of trees, the clatter of woodpeckers and the singing of cranes flying over vast ponds and marshes. At the forefront is the Imielty Ług marsh (reserve), as well as numerous breeding ponds, which constitute as much as 20% of the area of ​​all ponds in the Lublin region, and which surprised me the most here. There is also something to visit: from the Biłgorajska Suki School (I recommend watching the film!), through the Biłgorajski Konik Refuge, to the Zoom Natury Recreation and Science Park – a truly phenomenal place. Children in particular will love it. I invite you to two ready-made routes – the eastern and western ones. Both are not very long one-day loops. They are slightly different, but they are united by the soothing climate of the Janowskie Forests.
