How To True 1/32 Scale Slot Car Rubber Tires for Racing - NSR SuperGrips

Hey race fam, I hope you are all well! I put together a little tutorial for our Norcal32 Facebook Group, and thought I would post it on Youtube as well (Since my posting has been nonexistent). The tires shown are special Gray NSR WRE Supergrips for the upcoming NSR Classic Cup Race and Motown Raceway. The race is sponsored by Professor Motor and should be a good show with 30+ entries hopefully. In the video, you will see the tires are the NSR Supergrips (in custom grey for the event) with NSR 16x10 Low Profile air wheels (NSR 5018) and MR Slotcar Foam Inserts which have also been slightly trued to make sure they are perfectly round. This video should serve as reference for your Supergrip truing protocol - and bear in mind that some things that work for me may not work for you — but this will give you a good understanding of my tire truing process, how I cool the tires and clean them, and how I finish the surface of the tire off at the end.
