Knapping a Blade Core using a Rocker Punch by Craig Ratzat!
During our recent knapping gathering in Letchworth Park I was quite fascinated by a technique I had never seen before. Craig Ratzat from Oklahoma had a "Rocker Punch" device that increased a knappers accuracy to almost 100% as far as hitting the platform perfectly every time. This video shows Craig making a blade core and striking off some pretty nice blades using this indirect percussion device. If you would like to purchase one of these devices you can visit his website. Google neolithics and you will find him.
