George Herbert - a Welsh-born poet, orator, and priest.
In this video, we briefly follow the life of George Herbert, who lived from 1593 to 1633, taking us from Montgomery, Powis, to Wiltshire, where he served as the parish priest of Bemerton near Salisbury. We hear some of his poems, arising out of the landscape in which he lived and worked.
