I Drove over 3500km for the fishing trip of a lifetime… Only to get this dream trip shattered by wild west conditions! With wild Winds much stronger than the forecasted, king waves pounding everything, and seaweed absolutely everywhere from a cyclone aftermath. This was a disaster. Catching a few fish, but nothing close to what I was chasing—total disappointment after hyping this up as my big start to the year trip. Already cancelled 3+ other trips due to the same relentless bad weather. Dream fishing adventure? More like a nightmare.
