Chris Herren Fresno State 29pts vs Duke (1998 Alaskan Shootout)

November 27 1998 Senior Chris Herren leads all scorers with 29 points against the number one team in the country, the Duke Blue Devils. Herren scored 17 of his 29 in the second half, attempting to single-handedly lift Fresno State to a what would've been shocking upset by the unranked Bulldogs. Coached by the legendary Jerry Tarkanian, Herren proved he was unafraid of the bright lights (although the game was held in Anchorage, Alaska) and played like the best player on the court in a game that contained Elton Brand, Trajan Langdon, Corey Maggette, Courtney Alexander, Melvin Ely, among others.
