Everyone has heard about the Praying Mantises. Their behavior lives up to their reputation, a reputation where predatory instinct and sexual appetite hold a large place. They seem to come straight out of a horror movie and form gangs of natural born killers. Natural killers whose methods and psychology are rather expeditious. Winter of death. Of apparent death of course because life is simply on hold. It is asleep or rather waiting. A necessary waiting period, indispensable for creatures that only come out when it's warm. Praying mantises are among those creatures.
