Philippines - BGC (Bonifacio Global City) is a 244-hectare project by Fort Bonifacio Dev't Corp, a joint venture between Ayala Land, Campos Group, and BCDA. - It was originally owned by Metro Pacific in the 90's, the company who also developed the Pacific Plaza Towers. They sold the property to FBDC in 2003. - From its original circular road network, the consortium changed into a grid layout. Despite these changes, they retained the rotunda networks. - BGC Bus serves as the main transportation in the district. It has a routes from EDSA Ayala , Market Market, and now in Arca South (former FTI). - BGC Bus is owned by Bonifacio Transport Corporation. They partnered with HM Transport to supply more buses for commuters. - BGC is now home to local and multinational companies, as well as top branded hotels such as Shangri-La and Grand Hyatt. - Unlike in other business districts in the Metro, BGC has a wide sidewalk network making the district walkable - AJC ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Did took the advantage of joyriding around Bonifacio Global City and i hope it would always be like this.
