From Groaning to Glory Romans 8:18–27 FLAME Wednesday Bible Study with Rev. Abel Villos Life is filled with suffering, uncertainty, and seasons of waiting. Why do Christians still suffer even though we belong to Christ? What does it mean that creation is "groaning"? And what happens when we are so overwhelmed that we no longer know how to pray? In this Bible study, we explore one of the most comforting passages in all of Scripture—Romans 8:18–27. Together we discover that although creation groans, believers groan, and we wait for the fullness of God's promises, we do not wait without hope. The Holy Spirit intercedes for us, Christ has secured our salvation, and one day He will make all things new.
