Should Christians read Harry Potter? Should they watch the movies? (Links & timestamps below) Since Harry Potter was first published in the 1990's, the series has been causing a ruckus in some Christian circles. James Dobson came out against it and it often makes an appearance in sermons on culture war. Even though the books are almost a quarter of a century old, the debate continues with articles and videos titled: "Should Christians Rea/Watch Harry Potter?"
