Stepping up to cover this classic is KAKYO AKARI, an 18-year-old singer-songwriter who just graduated from high school this spring. Having won an audition to perform at "JAPAN JAM 2024" at the tender age of 16, she has already garnered significant attention within the music industry. Given her trademark powerful vocals, her personal choice of this bright, melodic pop tune from the selection pool came as a thrilling surprise to the production team. Following the previous session, the performance was filmed at the former Columbia Songs building.
