Journalist Roxana Berenice Guzmán, director of the news outlet Pulso Informativo, remains missing after being abducted by armed men who broke into her home in Veracruz. More than 72 hours after the incident, her family says there is no information about her whereabouts and no concrete progress in the investigation. During an interview with Grupo Fórmula, Renata, Guzmán's daughter, confirmed that reports circulating about her being found alive were false and that they have not received any calls, ransom demands, or any other contact related to the case. The young woman recounted witnessing her mother being taken from her home by armed men around 6:00 a.m. Given the lack of results, Roxana Berenice's family members protested during President Claudia Sheinbaum's visit to Veracruz to raise awareness of the case and demand that the search continue.
