Fred Wagner bass - Michael McDonald - I keep forgetting

The bass a bit loud and bright here especially at the start. This is a situation where a compressor would have been useful. At least you can hear all the variations I throw in. Yes, I keep forgetting ! But also, I won't usually spend too much time trying to pick up too many details of the original bassline, unless they come natural to me, and trust my system to make up for them. That's what a working bass player has to do when he gets many song requests.
