Swapping a 3UZ-FE 6AT engine with an automatic transmission into a Foton Tunland G7. Swapping a 3UZ-FE V8 4.3-liter 280 hp 6AT engine with an automatic transmission from a Toyota Crown Majesta into a 2024 Foton Tunland G7 was another challenging project for us. It wasn't the mechanical part that was challenging—we assembled it in literally two weeks—but the electronics were the real challenge, specifically the software. Modern cars are like that; a good electrician with a multimeter isn't enough. A lot has been done: the engine was fully serviced, LPG equipment was installed, a partially new muffler, anti-corrosion treatment, driveshaft repair and restoration, body repair, interior cleaning, air conditioning restoration, and other little things you can't even remember. A very good and promising car for a swap, especially because there are currently no spare parts for any serious repairs, only consumables for maintenance.
