There are many examples of how Pakistani entertainment uses soft power to inject hatred, distort history, and manipulate public perception — especially targeting Indian women and Gen Z viewers who consume this content in massive numbers. But the real danger lies beyond just the screen. The massive Indian viewership directly funds the very propaganda targeting them. YouTube ads, OTT subscriptions, and media rights deals generate crores in revenue for Pakistani production houses — money that is taxed by the Pakistani government and funneled into its national budget. A significant portion of this budget empowers the Pakistani military and ISPR — institutions deeply involved in spreading anti-India ideology and supporting terror activities.
