The Flaming Lips on Sound Opinions (February 20, 1994)

The Flaming Lips are interviewed at WKQX Studios in Chicago, Illinois by Jim Derogatis and Bill Wyman on the Sound Opinions radio program. This show took place on 02/20/1994. Although the entire band was in the studio, Wayne does most of the speaking, I believe Michael is the only one who doesn't talk throughout the interview. This FM broadcast was taped by Tyler Ley and transferred by Ryan Mulberger. It features the last known performance of Smog's "Chosen One." The video artwork is based on packaging material from the 'Transmissions From The Satellite Heart', which was designed by Jon Mooneyham. Photo by J. Michelle Martin. The font used was designed by Jamie Gustkey, and is actually based on Wayne Coyne's own handwriting.
