Concert to the Day of Russia "Mariinsky musical dynasties"
On June 12, 2026, the Prokofiev Hall hosted a unique concert, "Mariinsky musical dynasties to the Day of Russia". On this momentous day, beloved Mariinsky Theatre artists performed for the audience, along with their children – talented young instrumentalists, vocalists, and dancers, future stars of the big stage. The concert featured the Mariinsky Theatre Children's Choir (choirmaster Irina Yatsemirskaya). Conductor: Larisa Gabitova. The idea and organizer of the event was Sofia Kiprskaya, concertmaster of the Mariinsky Theatre's harp section. The curator was Olga Shaikhudinova (Okhromenko), soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra, and the director was Sergey Bogoslavsky. The program included masterpieces by great Russian and foreign composers, as well as works by contemporary musicians who are also artists of the Mariinsky Theatre.
