He explores his fascination with chain link fence in the signage for Santa Monica Place with Craig Hodgetts. Gehry describes his interest in rough construction as a unique and appealing design element. Gehry goes into detail about the modifications he made to his Santa Monica house. He tries to blur the line between the indoors and outdoors and connect his house to the street in a meaningful way.
