The combination of a 4.8v battery and 130 motor really made this truck under powered. In this video I install WPL B36 RTR electronics, WPL 3 wire servo, 7.4v li-on battery and some warm glow headlights. I did plan on installing a WPL B36 180 motor and gearbox aswel but when coming to install the body the 180 was to long to house correctly so it still has the original 130 and gearbox. Needless to say the 7.4v battery combined with the B36 electronics gives the stock motor alot more juice, the 3 wire servo also adds more aspect of control compared to the stock 5 wire one. The JJRC Q65 has proven to be a popular little rig amongst the small scall community, it's no surprise, its captures the essence of the Willy Jeep beautifully.
