Transporte pesado en Santa Cruz denuncia crisis por falta de diésel y posibles medidas de presión
The heavy transport sector in Santa Cruz is experiencing difficulties due to a diesel shortage, which is directly impacting the daily work of truckers and the normal flow of freight transport. Leaders warn that this situation has been ongoing and has not been resolved. Juan Yujra stated that the change in authorities does not resolve the structural problems of fuel supply. In this regard, he criticized the lack of results and the absence of concrete solutions from the government, asserting that the sector is in a state of constant uncertainty. The leader also questioned the lack of clarity in official information, pointing out that while some authorities claim they are working to improve fuel quality, others indicate that there are insufficient financial resources, which generates contradictions and concern within the sector. He also asked the government to be transparent about the true situation at Yacimientos (the state-owned oil company) and explain what is happening with fuel supplies, since—according to him—the public is not being told the truth. Given the lack of response, the heavy transport sector is not ruling out taking action, including possible blockades, if the diesel problem is not addressed and a clear and definitive solution is not provided.
