Fake Rode VideoMicro vs Real Rode VideoMicro
Purchased a fake Rode VideoMicro from Amazon and only initially questioned the authenticity because it had a Made In China sticker on the box. I purchased a 2nd one from Best Buy store and did this comparison. Hope it helps. Just to note: The fake has a serial number that registered on the Rodes website. So don’t think it’s real only because the serial registers okay on the official Rodes website.
