watching your grandparents grow old

This trip back home to Hawaii was tough. I'm holding on to these moments with Popo and trying to make every second count. You understand what it means when your grandparents/parents grow old, but it hits different when you watch it happen. I did not expect to see a drastic change in Popo since I saw her in November, but I'm realizing that, at almost 100 years old, things may start to happen fast. We'll be back in August. •TIMECODES• 0:00 watching Popo age 5:49 state services for Hawaii elders 9:30 Popo is a fashionista 10:25 go-to dim sum restaurant 12:00 visiting the Hawaiian Humane Society 18:41 family dinner •VIDEO MENTIONS• for Hawaii elders: https://hawaiiadrc.org/ ‘Ilio Explorers: https://www.hawaiianhumane.org/ilioex... https://www.hawaiianhumane.org/adopti...
