Eight foot long bee hive removal and relocation.

www.studiobeeproductions.com Well folks, this is going to be another looong video, but considering I had over 9 hours of video clips to go through, I thought I did pretty good to get it down to just under 27 minutes. For those who are interested in the editing part, I spent almost 5 hours editing this one. Of course, when you are talking about a bee hive that is every bit of 8 feet long, it's got to bee a long video. I could not have done the job without the assistance from a brand new bee keeper, Robert, who was with me the entire time assisting in whatever way he could. The homeowners also took part in the removal by witnessing the entire process as well as springing for lunch and drinks throughout the day. All in all, it was a GREAT day of bee wrangling, and I was blessed to bring back to the abbey some fantastic bees. I look forward to the spring when I split these girls and have their drones flying with the abbey drones blending their genetics with ours.
