Chasing the West Coast moochers | Awanui twilight fishing comp

Went out on a mission to the West Coast with Nate and Matt for the Awanui Twilight Fishing Comp. We loaded the boat at 6am and headed out chasing some solid snapper, kahawai and trevally. The fishing turned on and we all managed to land some nice snapper and kahawai throughout the day. Nate ended up hooking into an absolute beast of a snapper which took out Biggest Snapper from Boat for the comp, and I managed to land a solid kahawai that won Biggest Kahawai. Epic day on the water with the boys, good laughs, good fish and a couple of prizes to top it all off.
