DJI Mini 2 Broken Gimbal Repair
Well I finally crashed my Mini 2. I had assumed that if I crashed it would be a mile away near the top of a mountain because that is the most risky flying I do. Instead I crashed taking of behind my house when I failed to look up and see a tree branch! By the time I saw it it was too late and the drone hit the branch and tumbled down landing on concrete.This video shows how I was able to repair the broken Gimbal support using Epoxy and fiberglass cloth. The repaired gimbal seems to be as strong as original and tested perfectly. Repairs took around 2 hours to complete and were fairly simple.
