15 Years of Type 1 Diabetes — Why I Still Choose Injections Over an Insulin Pump
I've been living with Type 1 diabetes for over 15 years and I've never used an insulin pump. Not because I couldn't — but because daily injections have always given me excellent blood sugar control. In this video I share my honest story, why I started on injections, and why after all these years I still choose them over a pump. If you're newly diagnosed and trying to figure out what works best for you, or if you're an experienced T1D wondering whether a pump is worth switching to — this video is for you. There is no one-size-fits-all answer with Type 1 diabetes, and what works brilliantly for one person might not work for another. This is simply what works for me. I am not a doctor. Everything I share is based on 15+ years of personal experience with Type 1 diabetes. Always consult your healthcare team before making any changes to your treatment.
