Laxmi Narayan Temple, also known as Thakur Dwara Chanour, is a revered Hindu shrine located in the village of Chanour, Tehsil Dehra, in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh . According to local legends, the temple complex dates back to the era of the Pandavas from the Indian epic Mahabharata. It is believed that during their period of exile, the Pandavas constructed three temples in this region: one dedicated to Durga Chandi Ji, another to Shri Laxmi Narayan Ji, and a third to Rudra Ji .
