Magic Kingdom Disney World At Christmas! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party | Animal Kingdom Lodge

Today’s video is a very special one, because we’re finally experiencing Christmas at Walt Disney World for the very first time — and honestly… it completely blew us away. From festive rides and parades to holiday fireworks and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, this day was pure Disney magic from start to finish. We start the day waking up at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, one of our absolute favourite Disney resorts. This morning is a little bit different though, because we’re moving rooms within the same hotel to a savannah view room for our final few nights. We show you the process of switching rooms, share our thoughts, and get excited knowing we’ll be waking up to animals right outside our balcony for the rest of the trip. After getting sorted, we head out to the parks because today is all about Magic Kingdom at Christmas. The moment we arrive, we’re surrounded by festive decorations, holiday music, and that unmistakable Christmas atmosphere that Disney does better than anywhere else. This is genuinely our first time seeing Magic Kingdom decorated for the holidays, and we take you along to show just how magical it really feels. 🎢 TRON Lightcycle / Run – POV Ride Video One of the highlights of the day is riding TRON Lightcycle / Run, and we’re bringing you along with a POV ride video so you can experience it too as we have some new Meta Glasses. If you’re planning a Walt Disney World trip and wondering if TRON is worth it — this part is for you. 🌮 Pecos Bill, Dole Whip & Classic Magic Kingdom Rides After TRON, we grab some food at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Café, explore more of the park, and soak in all the Christmas vibes. We ride some classic favourites including Pirates of the Caribbean and Tianas, and of course stop for a Dole Whip, because no Magic Kingdom day is complete without one. We also catch the Festival of Fantasy Parade, which is always a must-see and even more magical during the festive season. 🎄 Back to the Resort… Then Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Begins! In the afternoon, we head back to Animal Kingdom Lodge to get changed and ready for the evening, because tonight is something we’ve been looking forward to for years — Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. We return to Magic Kingdom as the party begins, and walking into the park with all the Christmas lights switched on is honestly breathtaking. Main Street U.S.A. looks absolutely stunning, and the festive atmosphere is next level. We take our time walking around, enjoying the decorations, music, and exclusive party vibes. 🎅 Christmas Treats, Shows & Holiday Rides Throughout the night, we enjoy special holiday treats around the park, ride some of our favourites including the PeopleMover, Space Mountain, and Tomorrowland Speedway, all with festive overlays and Christmas twists. We also catch multiple castle shows, which were incredible, and really made the night feel extra special. 🎆 Christmas Fireworks & Parade The highlight of the evening has to be the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party fireworks and the Christmas parade. From the music to the projections to the snowfall on Main Street, everything was just magical. It’s safe to say this instantly became one of our favourite Disney experiences ever.
