** It has been brought to my attention that you do not leave a weapon accessible to your assailant. In the video, I tossed my baton and transitioned to the Taser. In most circumstances, do not replicate what I did. If there is more value in throwing your baton on the ground because the speed of the transition and possible outcome of your Taser outweighs the possibility your assailant will take over your baton than, do it. Every situation is dynamic and you must constantly evolve.
