The People of Ghana vs Public Officials: GH¢5.27 Billion Missing, Misused or Mismanaged? Tonight, the case before this court is simple: The People of Ghana versus whoever touched our money. The Auditor-General says Ghana recorded over GH¢5.27 billion in financial irregularities in 2025. Now, before anybody starts sweating like a suspect in the witness box, let us be fair. Irregularity does not automatically mean stealing. But Hold Up! When public money develops legs, disappears from accounts, refuses to follow procurement rules, or ends up in suspicious transactions, the Ghanaian taxpayer has every right to ask: who signed, who approved, who benefited, and who must refund the money? Tonight, we are putting the Auditor-General’s report in the courtroom. No party colors. No propaganda. Just evidence, accountability, and common sense.
