Eat during lunch because lunch specials are usually cheaper than dinner. Walk around and look for posted food specials before choosing a restaurant. Use Google Maps and check the dollar signs before deciding where to eat. Check Groupon or nearby food deals when traveling. Look for happy hour menus if you want cheaper food in expensive cities. Choose filling sides like fries when you are trying to stretch your budget. You do not have to eat at the most expensive “must-try” restaurants to enjoy good food while traveling.
