Brewing Competition Beers! (English Porter & American Porter)

In prep for the National Homebrew Competition (NHC), and some other spring time competitions, I brew two batches of Porter. One is the 3rd version of my "Road to Gold American Porter." The other is a batch of my Goad Medal winning English Porter (with a few tweaks). Can I win a medal in the American Porter category? Can I strike again with my English Porter. A busy brew day, and I fit in time to keg two fermenters of my Helio Gazer IPA. P.S. I know I said National Homebrew "Con" several times when I meant to say "Competition"!
