Most visiting cyclists in France ride straight past this sign without knowing what it means. Get it wrong, and you find out the hard way: a car pulls out from your right and does not slow down. This is the yellow diamond, the route prioritaire sign, and it catches out riders from the UK, the US and Australia more than any other sign in France.
