Culture Shocks in the UK 🇬🇧😭 (Part 1)
Moving to the UK as a Nigerian student came with a lot of unexpected culture shocks 😭🇬🇧 From thanking bus drivers, paying for plastic bags, and calling older people by their first names, to confusing weather, quiet public transport and British politeness adjusting to life in the UK has definitely been an experience. In this video, I share real cultural differences I noticed after moving from Nigeria to the UK as an international student. Some were funny, some were confusing and some genuinely took time to adjust to. If you’re an international student, planning to move abroad, or already living in the UK, you’ll probably relate to a lot of these experiences. Experience-based. Honest conversations only.
