INSANE LATE DRAMA IN THE MOST CONTROVERSIAL PLAY OFF FINAL EVER!

This is it then, probably the most controversial play off final in the history of the football league! Hull City booked their place at Wembley stadium with a 2-0 Aggregate win against Millwall but it was the tie between Middlesbrough and Southampton which was where the issues arose. Boro accused Saints of spying on a training session ahead of the first leg at the Riverside stadium, then after Southampton won the second leg 2-1 after extra time at St Mary's Chaos followed. The FA found Southampton guilty, kicked them out of the play offs and reinstated Middlesbrough for the final, with Hull City stuck in the middle and having their opposition switched at just a few days notice.
