All materials are harvested directly from the deep jungle: large banana leaves and wild bamboo. This shelter is elevated about 1 meter above the ground to avoid dampness and insects, utilizing a massive ancient tree trunk as its main support pillar. Layer by layer, the banana leaves are meticulously thatched like roof tiles to create a perfect waterproof roofing system, ready to withstand sudden tropical downpours.
