Anatomy of tennis elbow

Last week we talked about the anatomy of golfer's elbow and some of the muscles of the anterior compartment of the forearm, so here's the companion: the anatomy of tennis elbow and some of the muscles of the posterior compartment of the forearm. In tennis elbow or lateral epicondylitis there is pain around the lateral epicondyle of the humerus. We need to consider the bony bits, the tendons and muscles involved, the movements of the wrist and hand, and tie it all together somehow.
