The Ascent - DIY 2025 Kodiak Mountain Goat
Two of my friends drew a goat tag and I agreed to assist them. It was also an opportunity to bid farewell to Rolan and Jo at Seahawk Air who are retiring. Ultimately we would take only one goat due to the distances and difficulty involved. It was a beautiful 22 mile hell march and a heck of an experience. We hiked 19 hours straight and came back to the spike camp in the dark. Got a little button buck once at base camp.
