In this video, we will discuss the historical teaching regarding religious freedom, demonstrating yet another contradiction in the magisterium of the Church of Rome. This Church consistently taught that heretical groups should suffer penalties applied by the State, which could range from the loss of property to death at the stake. Therefore, it makes no sense to claim that the Roman magisterium infallibly teaches the true faith and morals when, for such a long period, it led millions of faithful into moral error that culminated in the destruction of thousands of human lives. Fortunately, since Vatican II, the Church of Rome has embraced religious freedom as an intrinsic value stemming from human dignity, but this has come at the cost of refuting its own tradition.
