Mixed Media Art Tags - A Tool To Release Your Creative Juices!

In this video I want to share why I believe Mixed Media Art Tags are the perfect medium to help you get out of a rut and help get those Mixed Media or Art Journaling creative juice flowing again! Art tags are a great size to practice your art and craft without being too difficult, or too serious. It lets you play, have fun, explore and most importantly, it lets you learn. I often pull out a tag when I'm feeling uninspired or in a rut or I want to test out a new technique. It's great when I don't want to ruin a spread, when I just want to play. Tags make wonderful gifts, they can be used as bookmarks, magnets, they can be used to decorate your room, for art journaling purposes, and great to keep notes. This is why I feel art tags are the unsung hero! They come in different sizes, making them perhaps more versatile as you initially thought. If you die cut them yourself, you can create them in a variety of different papers, making them even more versatile. I love using Art tags to get myself out of a mixed media or art journaling rut. I used them for art practice - as a great way to sit down, do some art and crafts without any pressure to get things perfect and just create. These tags were created for my Facebook Group, The Glittered Roses which can be found here:   / 16chlbkctv   We welcome paper artists from all over the world, who create in different types of paper arts. We would love if you join us. I used a variety of Distress Spray Stains and Distress Oxide Sprays. Distress Crayons, Distress Spritz, Tim Holtz Paper Dolls, Deena Wakley Tags, Wax Seals, Mixed Ephemera. ‪@timholtz‬ ‪@ranger_ink‬ #mixedmedia #mixedmediaart #mixedmediatag #mixedmediatechniques #collageart
