5 Calon Manajer Kopdes Meninggal saat Latihan Militer
KOMPAS.TV The number of participants in the Indonesian Development Driver Undergraduate Program (SPPI) who died while undergoing basic military training for prospective managers of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative has increased to five. The government expressed its condolences and assured that the program's implementation would be evaluated. In a press conference at the Ministry of Defense Building, the Head of the Ministry of Defense's Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM), Major General Ketut Gede Wetan Pastia, stated that the five participants had varying characteristics and medical conditions. He stated that all participants had received medical treatment according to procedures at health facilities and referral hospitals. He also emphasized that all participants participated in the training voluntarily and had declared their readiness in accordance with applicable regulations. One of the deceased participants, Muhammad Rifki Renaldi Gunawan, was buried at the Cijambe Public Cemetery in North Sumedang, West Java. Rifki, an SPPI participant studying at the 465th Raider Infantry Battalion Education Unit, died after receiving medical treatment after complaining of shortness of breath. Responding to the incident, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi confirmed that the government would conduct a cross-agency evaluation of the implementation of basic military training, including examining potential technical and procedural aspects that needed improvement. However, the government considered the training to be important because it also included competency development materials for prospective managers of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative. This controversy was also discussed in a KompasTV dialogue with Deputy I of the Government Communications Agency, Fahd Pahdepie, and constitutional law expert Bivitri Susanti. #KopdesMerahPutih #SPPI #Latsarmil #MinistryofDefense
