The 17 Hour Route Nobody Flies Anymore | Thai A340 Bangkok ✈ Los Angeles

✈️Welcome aboard! Today we will fly an Airbus A340-600 from Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Bangkok (VTBS) to Los Angeles International Airport (KLAX). This flight of over 13,600 kilometers will take us north across Asia, out over the Pacific and across the international date line, arriving in Los Angeles on the same day we departed. Thai Airways flew this route nonstop as TG794 until 2012 — and since it ended, no airline has offered nonstop service between Thailand and the United States. The aircraft we are using is the Airbus A340-600, the longest airliner ever built at 75.36 metres — longer than a Boeing 747, a record it held from 2002 until 2010. It is powered by four Rolls-Royce Trent 500 engines and is so long that Airbus fitted external taxi cameras so the crew can see where their own landing gear is going. Thai flew this route with the longer-range A340-500, so today we are taking the variant that was never quite built for it. Grab some snacks and coffee, and enjoy the flight! ✨ ✈ Route: Bangkok (BKK) → Los Angeles (LAX) ✈ Airline: Thai Airways ✈ Aircraft: Airbus Aerosoft/Toliss A340-600Pro 🎮 Simulator: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 🎥 Quality: 4K Ultra HD If you enjoy aviation journeys and historic flight recreations, please like, subscribe and leave a comment telling me which legendary route SimHistory should recreate next! การบินไทยในตำนาน กรุงเทพ–ลอสแอนเจลิส หากชื่นชอบเที่ยวบินผ่อนคลายและการจำลองเส้นทางการบินในอดีต ฝากกดไลก์ กดติดตาม และคอมเมนต์บอกกันด้วยนะครับว่าอยากให้ SimHistory จำลองเที่ยวบินในตำนานเส้นทางไหนต่อไป ✈️ Chapters: 0:00 Intro 2:38 Walk Around 3:03 Start-Up + Flight Setup 6:35 APU Start + Push Back 8:30 Taxi to Runway 19 14:00 Line Up + Take Off 21:20 Cruise Montage 24:30 Descend into California 38:25 Final Approach + Landing into LAX 24R 42:04 Landing Replay In-and-Out Approach 46:35 Outro #MSFS2024 #ThaiAirways #AirbusA340 #BangkokToLosAngeles #FlightSimulator #4K #การบินไทย
