Hello everyone, I'm Seyyah Ömer. Following the forest disaster and fires that occurred in 2021, I was deeply hurt. I was so devastated that, driven by the conviction to do something, I decided to raise awareness and not remain silent. I believed the best thing I could do was to raise awareness about our forests and make them heard. I embarked on a journey from Manisa, accompanied by my dog ​​Yoldaş, who joined me in Edirne. With the motto "81 Provinces, 81 Saplings" and the slogan "I Walk for Forests," I embarked on a journey through Turkey, solely on foot. In every city I visit, I want to heed nature's cry for help by planting a sapling, and to convey this cry to all of humanity. I dream of demonstrating to society the belief that even a sapling is worth a thousand lives against global warming, and to demonstrate to you and your warm hearts the love of forests, and that nature is the home of all living things. I also commemorate my walk with mercy and gratitude, dedicating it to our forest martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our forests and our future, and to all those who lost their lives in the fires.
