Diane Morgan returns as pioneering documentary filmmaker Philomena Cunk, who embarks on her most ambitious quest to date: venturing into the universe to examine life itself. This one-off special will see Philomena tackle some of the most complex concepts ever considered, from Quantum Physics to existentialism, nihilism, hedonism and at least four other isms. She will explore the big bang, the biological and moral make-up of our world, as well as everything from art to artificial intelligence. Cunk on Life is on Netflix from January 2nd 2025. This event was hosted by the BFI's Head of Cinema Programme, Justin Johnson.
