Drilling Out Eyes

In this video I share a process that I follow to drill out the eyes of some of my wooden sculptures. I love using the Shopsmith in drill press mode for this because the table and fence can be positioned so easily for precision drilling. Here, I’m drilling out the eyes of a ‘dice totem’ made from Tamboti. Similar to a ‘dice jail’ except that a die placed in this little critter’s belly in hopes of imbuing it with good luck. I’d like to send out a special thanks to Rain Break Media for allowing the use of their song ‘Keeping In Touch’. Hear more from them at:    / @rainbreakmediallc1174
